Special Events
Throughout the school year we hold special events and field trips coinciding with the seasons.  Events in the past have included apple picking, pumpkin picking, trips to the Raritan Valley Community College Planetarium, a visit in the spring to Howell Living Farm in Hopewell and our annual Holiday Party which is a candlelit event held one evening just before Holiday Vacation.  The children dress in their party attire and dine and sing songs by candlelight.  Parents are invited to enjoy the Holiday Concert performed by the students.

Each year a Mother's Breakfast and Father's Breakfast provides your child the opportunity to invite you to have breakfast with them in his/her Montessori classroom.  First you will enjoy a continental breakfast followed by a working session with your child to see and participate in the work they perform each day.  This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get a glimpse into what their child's daily experience is like at Village Montessori.

At the end of each school year our Kindergarten 'Graduates' in a Graduation Ceremony held at Duke Island Park.  All students participate in a group sing and enjoy a wonderful picnic in the park with family and friends.
